David Malone is a Teacher on Special Assignment with San Francisco Unified School District's Educational Technology Department and adjunct faculty at Touro University in Vallejo, California. He is on the Board of Directors for Computer-Using Educators, serves on the technology committee for the Diocese of Oakland, and a curriculum developer for the Leading Edge Certification: Digital Educator program. He co-authored the Explain Everything User Manual with the app’s developer, Reshan Richards. David graduated from UC Berkeley and has a Master’s Degree in EdTech Leadership from Cal State University, East Bay. He is an Apple Distinguished Educator, Google Certified Teacher, Microsoft Innovative Educator, and New Media Consortium K-12 Ambassador.
